Barbeques Galore makes backyard grilling an exciting pastime for the entire family. With more than 165 Barbeques Galore retail stores in the United States and Australia, the company is one of the leading specialty retailers of barbecue and barbecue accessories in the world. In the United States, we have more than 65 company owned and operated stores and 6 franchised stores. In Australia, we have 48 company owned and operated stores and 43 licensed stores.
We sell more than 2,000 barbecue items including grills, outdoor cooking islands, grilling accessories, delicious sauces and rubs, wood chips and chunks, cookbooks and more. Our grill line features the best quality, most up-to-date barbecues in the industry including Turbo, Capt N Cook, Bar-B-Chef, Cook-On, Weber, Lynx, Viking and more. We also sell a comprehensive line of fireplace products.
We opened our first retail store in the U.S. in 1980 featuring our own line of grills including Turbo, Capt'n Cook and Cook-On brands that we designed and manufactured in Australia. These Barbeques Galore grills have won over backyard grillers across the country with their quality construction, attention to detail and durability. Our top of the line Grand Turbo grill was noted by grillmaster Steven Raichlen in Bon Appetit as the grill "that makes the statement that you've arrived and know what you're doing."
Barbeques Galore grills and outdoor cooking islands have been featured on Fox & Friends, HGTV's Landscaper's Challenge, ABC's Exteme Make Over-Home Edition, Sabine Pass project where the show rebuilt the local fire department facility that had been destroyed by Hurricane Rita. Barbeques Galore contributed our own exclusive Catalina Island, a collection of our Fireman aprons and a year's supply of Barbeques Galore Gourmet Meat for the Sabine Pass firefighters.
