District Manager
The District Manager is responsible for the P & L performance of a group of stores within his/her jurisdiction. In addition to various other duties that may be assigned, collects data and generates reports; assists corporate Training Director in staff development efforts; coordinates sales events; projects staffing needs and monitors district staffing levels; assists the Human Resources Department in recruiting district Store Managers and other store personnel; provides information system support; keeps current on industry and regulatory trends and communicates these to district personnel as needed; oversees inventory control and safety efforts; provides liaison between district stores and Field Support Center.
Store Manager
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and P & L performance of a dynamic retail outlet. In addition to various other duties that may be assigned, assists District Manager in hiring/training store personnel; orders product according to Company policies and procedures; orchestrates store sales effort; oversees inventory and cash handling controls; insures safety program compliance; insures compliance with Company store appearance standards; implements Company programs and special events; develops/evaluates staff; represents Company at community functions; directs store business development effort; generates reports; keeps District Manager informed on all matters relating to store operations and performance.
Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager is typically the primary salesperson in the store, focussing on sales generation and those functions associated with same. In addition to various other duties that may be assigned, assists Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store and operates in place of the Store Manager in that individual’s absence; sets example for other salespersons with floor leadership; keeps current on product knowledge, industry trends, and store operations, assisting other store personnel where needed here; operates POS system to ring up sales; assists with maintaining store appearance; and implements Company programs and special events.
Sales Associate
Sales Associates are responsible for selling store products to customers, both general and business. In addition to various other duties that may be assigned, relentlessly maintains the Company’s uncompromising standards for customer relations; insures that the store’s appearance and general ambiance provide a pleasant shopping experience for our customers; demonstrates products according to Company standards; operates POS system to ring up sales; and assists with merchandising, stocking, and general upkeep of store.
Service Technician
The Service Technician is responsible for assuring that the finished product received by customers provides superior service. In addition to various other duties that may be assigned, assembles, delivers, installs, tests, and services barbecues and fireside equipment and related accessories; coordinates backroom storage area and insures product accessibility; keeps Company service vehicle clean and well-stocked; cross-sells products and services as required; and instructs and directs store Assemblers where applicable.
Cashier
The Cashier is responsible for ringing up customers’ purchases and checking them out of the store. In addition to various other duties that may be assigned, operates the POS system to ring up sales; handles cash and non-cash transactions; provides primary telephone support; arranges for customer assistance where required; provides sales assistance when necessary; assists in maintaining store appearance; and assists with store paperwork.
Assembler
The Assembler helps insure that customers receive a product that will provide superior service. In addition to various other duties that may be assigned, assembles/tests/delivers barbecues and fireside equipment and related accessories; assists customers with getting product to their cars; insures that the backroom storage and assembly areas are kept clean and in good working order; helps maintain the general appearance of the store; and assists the Service Technician where required.
