Here are some tips to help make your meal a hassle free success:

    1. To keep from burning the chicken, brown it over direct medium heat for about 5 minutes, then finish it off using indirect heat in a covered grill. This method will help cook it evenly, controlling flare-ups and deliver juicy, delicious chicken to your table. For more on indirect cooking click here.
    2. Don't apply the barbecue sauce to the chicken until the last 5 -10 minutes of grilling. Sauce applied to early will tend to burn, making a mess of both your chicken and your grill!
    3. You can pre-grill the chicken the day before, so that at your cook out all you have to do is re-heat on the grill and apply the sauce.
    4. As opposed to making your own, save time and effort by using one of our barbecue sauces. For our online selection of sauces and marinades, click here.
