The rubber material of the button cover should have UV inhibitors as a year or two in the sun, you will need to replace it..AGAIN. If you use this button cover on older igniters, you may find that it is necessary to push the rubber cover extra deep into the button in order to make contact. I placed a wooden dowel spacer in the button top so that a reasonably short push will start the igniter. Without the spacer and without the UV inhibitors, the replacement button cover for older igniters does not last long. The OEM has the best price and customer service

I've loved my BBQ Galore grill since I purchased it many years ago and I needed to find another ignitor push button. It was exactly what I needed! My only suggestion for BBQ Galore is to make a notation on the product webpage that underneath the ignitor push button is a small battery that needs to be checked and possibly replaced at the same time. Thanks for having this product available!
